Per Fhager’s retro gaming needlework is tear-inducing

For most of us, that Mike Brady mancave we’ve dreamed all our lives of is already too full of awesome stuff to even enter, and it’s still a vasectomy and 21 years away from being built.

But surely there’s room for a few embroideries on the wall?

That’s probably not something you’d imagined yourself ever saying, but Swedish artist Per Fhager’s needlework is worth the poster space you had planned for that giant pic of Erika Eleniak coming out of the birthday cake.

And probably even the one with the tennis bird scratching her arse.

Because these deserve places in the ManCave Cross Stitch All-Time World of Fame:

Blazing Star, 2011
54X78cm, tent stitch, wool (framed)

He’s even done the scores, health, stats – and made sure each captures a pivotal moment in the game.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, 2011
56X51cm, cross stitch, cotton

Excuse me, while I wipe that single tear.

Seiken Densetsu III (version 2), 2013
165X145cm, double cross stitch, wool

See more of Per’s amazing work here, where you can also buy it.

And also thank the good people at RocketNews24 for the heads-up on this one.
